Rockburn Escape

Built off-site on steel bearers, this cabin was transported to Rockburn Farm and lowered onto concrete pads, anchored into the shallow limestone rock bed. The site was carefully chosen by the owners, looking out over a paddock of cabbage trees and limestone rock formations, with views to Mt Peel, Mt Dobson and Fox Peak in the distance. Located within restrictive planning overlays and exposed to strong winds, the project was not without its challenges.
